Hi Family and Friends!
What a week here in St. Louis. Nothing to report that y’all would find as interesting.
Transfer week for an office elder is crazy! But none the less, we made it thorough. The biggest thing I’ve learned… We re-learned is that the Lord doesn’t give us trials and challenges that we cannot handle. At time we might feel that we do. We run out of energy, we feel that we can’t move forward. I think its genius that we can do anything, if we rely on the Lord. He can strengthen us, give us hope, and bless our lives in ways we can’t ourselves. We cannot live without God in our lives; I’ve seen that again, and again.
I love being around new missionaries. They have such a fire about them, and willingness to learn. It’s incredible how the Lord puts people in specific
places, especially missionaries and even down to their trainers and new areas. I think quickly of my calling and the places I’ve served and the people I’ve touched, and touched me. I feel that the Lord really cares about me and all his children.
Jimmy is doing well. He’s been quite sick the last week or so. He didn’t make it to church on Sunday because of him being sick. But we found out that he is starting his Job today at Home Depot! So exciting because he needs to get out of the house. This will be good for him, and now he can start paying tithing!
Other than that, we haven’t had a ton of time to do actual missionary work. Thats been the biggest struggle for me and desire I want to do. I know the
little time we do have, the Lord still blesses us. Time is valuable! I am clearly learning the lesson.
Anyways! Spring is hopefully coming soon! Its going to be quite nice here this week!
Have a wonderful week!
I live the Gospel! I love it! Its true!
