Start of a new Transfer!

Hi Family and Friends!!

Sorry about last week’s email… We didn’t email on Monday because it was President’s day, and emailing got pushed aside last week because of the amount of work we had to do last week…

Non the less! We are now on a new transfer. Things have been going great these last two weeks.

My New Companion is Elder Spackman! He is from Syracuse Utah! We and the AP’s already have our new companions. We are in a tri for today. I will
miss being with Elder Hamilton. He is, seriously the funniest guy I’ve met. He never ceases to have a quick pun or joke up his sleeve.

Jimmy is doing just amazing. We saw him three times this week. He was accepted for his returning job at Home Depot, but he is still waiting to hear back. He is almost done with the Book of Mormon!!! He’s read a ton this week, and has called us multiple times about how much he has learned and enjoyed from reading it. This is his first time, and he is such a stud. He finished Heleman, and just started 3 Nephi 11, and has been counting down the years till the coming of Christ in the Americas!! We even had the opportunity to bring by two missionaries who have taught him this week, and he has really opened up. He wants so bad to have Tina read the Book of Mormon, and to be sealed in the Temple. He is an amazing man, full of life, and really has come a long way from where he was. He suffered from severe depression, and still does, but told us that “I’ve never felt so happy when I do, as when I read the Scriptures.” The Gospel is so real!!

I also found out from Elder Roundy today that Jermaine, Mimi and Shakira were able to get into school!!! That is so exciting!! Elder Roundy sent me
a picture, and Jermaine, Mimi and Shakira look at lot better than they were before. Another Clear Example of how the Gospel changes lives…. I cannot
deny this. I truly do miss them.

More News! Elder Roundy is coming to be in the other set of missionaries in my ward!!!

We’ve been working closely with President and Sister Morgan. We have a lot ahead of us this week, real excited!

I know the Gospel is real. I feel so blessed to be able to help other people have that joy in their lives. I know that the Savior lives today, that his purpose on this Earth was to make it possible that we can return to live with God. The more and more I study the scriptures and have a relationship with Heavenly Father through prayer, I am finding that I am changing, and I hope and pray that I can become more like my Savior. I know through giving service to others 24/7 is the way to heal the soul, the way to become more like him. The gospel is real. I pray and hope that those who are struggling, keep sticking with it. The Lord has so many blessings awaiting for us, only on the conditions that we ask for them.

Have a wonderful week!! Take care and lots of love,

The Gospel is Real! I live it! I love it!!
